AdClub's Creativity and Branding: From Concept to Consumer

Speaker: Bev Oster

Some brands seem to have a better connection with consumers than others - "Jack" of fast food fame is a known icon, and recently both Toyota and Dominos have made strong pushes to overcome negative images with their advertising.  This consumer connection helps these brands increase their sales and position in the market.  And while brands need cohesive messages, they also need strategies attached to each form of communication that is used.

This presentation will be interactive in nature, full of interesting examples of both local and national brand creativity, and provide plenty of time for Q&A and discussion.

Speaker Bev Oster, author of Know Beans about Green, has spent a lifetime understanding how people think, and how to craft messages that will motivate different demographic and psychographic groups. She is the president and creative director of Oster and Associates, a San Diego based marketing agency that specializes in the green consumer.
